Noise Action Week is an annual initiative coordinated by Environmental Protection UK, the environmental protection charity supported by pollution control professionals, which has been working for a cleaner, quieter, healthier world since 1898.
Noise Action Week aims to raise awareness about neighbourhood noise and the solutions available to tackle it. It gives everyone involved in managing noise problems the opportunity to focus public and media attention on the difficulties excessive noise can cause for us all – at home, at work, at study and at leisure.
Each year, hundreds of organisations organise activities as part of Noise Action Week, including: local authorities; housing associations; mediations services; community groups; schools and police.
